Contacting your Doctor

Most problems are best dealt with in a consultation. A registered nurse is always available during normal surgery hours for advice.

Our staff are experienced in helping you decide whether the matter requires an appointment, a return phone call or urgent advice.

Longer appointments

If you require more than 15 minutes or if you have more than one medical issue please make a double appointment.

Annual Health Checks

We conduct health checks bulk billed through Medicare for people aged 45-49 years.

This is particularly important if you have a family history of a chronic disease such as diabetes, heart failure, kidney failure etc.

Test results

In the interests of good health and best practice a follow-up appointment is generally required for test results.

We ask you to book an appointment to follow up test results with your doctor.

Do you charge for flu vaccinations?

Flu and pneumonia vaccinations are free of charge for people over 65 years of age or with underlying chronic medical conditions (generally available from the end of February each year).

Sickness Certificates

Please understand that we are not able to back date sickness certificates.

If you require a certificate for work/school on the day of your illness please make an appointment with your doctor.

Repeat Prescriptions and Referrals

The policy of the practice is that a consultation is needed for referrals and repeat prescriptions.

Please ask specialists’ rooms if your referral is still current.

Please note referrals are valid for a period of twelve months.

Recalls and Reminders

We may from time to time send you a recall or reminder notice.

If you do not wish to be part of this service please let us know.

Where are you located?

We are located at 45 Victoria Avenue, Albert Park, opposite the primary school and approximately half way between Canterbury Road and Beaconsfield Parade. Melway Map reference 57 E4.

Ample street parking is available including disabled parking immediately outside the clinic.

What hours are you open?

Our practice is open from 8.30am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday and 9.30am-12.30pm Saturday.
